WATCH: The Karate Kid’s Original Lo-Fi Cut | CBR

Original Karate Kid director, the late John Avildsen, apparently shot a rehearsal version of the entire film on a camcorder which can be watched in its entirety on YouTube.

Posted to YouTube by Lethal Weapon actor Andrew Patrick Ralston, the entire lo-fi version — filmed in 1983 — is nearly two hours long. Some of the footage only takes place on an empty sound stage, but other parts were shot with in-costume actors on location. Read from source….
